YEARS OF IMPACT

2020 certainly shaped up to be a year that many want to forget about, for so many reasons!

Despite the challenges of COVID, I am thankful beyond measure that we have been able to equip another class of students and prepare them for lives of service.

Our 80th class of students joined us this past fall. I am privileged to stand on the shoulders of those who served this great institution in prior generations. I’m also thrilled to know so many who benefited from their time on campus and those of you who provide the back bone of financial support for Emmaus Bible College. Through the many generous gifts given by God’s people, we have been able to provide our student with the scholarships they need, the educational programs they desire, and a campus environment that is conducive to their personal growth in Christ.

We ended the 2020 fiscal year in good financial shape once again, with a small operating surplus. We praise God for how He is able to further His work through Emmaus Bible College.

It is our desire that by sharing information in this annual report we demonstrate in a small way what God has done through the ongoing ministry of the faculty and staff to fulfill our mission.

Thank you once again for faithfully helping to sustain the work of the Lord.

Expect the Unexpected

Megan Williamson Omanikor (class of '18)

What started out as a time of service to the Lord for Megan at Musana Camp in Uganda Africa turned into an unexpected relationship and ministry focus. It wasn’t technically love at first sight, but as Megan and Issac served the Lord together at Musana Camp, they both had the feeling there might be more in store for one another. A shared passion for the Lord and serving people in Jesus’s name drew Megan and Issac together and ultimately to the decision to share life together in marriage. While there is more to the story, God is now using that shared passion for the people of Uganda to call Issac and Megan to start and lead Equip Ministries Uganda. Their vision is to glorify God by providing intentional gospel-discipleship and essential services to meet the needs of the people in Buikwe Uganda. By living with and serving their neighbors, in Jesus name, they believe that the transforming power of the Gospel will break through to the hearts of people in Buikwe district. Equipping students like Megan who possess the professional knowledge, heart passion, and willingness to serve God wherever He calls not only has a transformative impact on communities and individuals now, but also holds immense eternal benefit. We thank the Lord for using you to make Megan’s story a reality. Our ability to continually equip and educate students like Megan is made possible through the generosity of our ministry partners.

GROWING EXPERIENCE

Coby Coyle

My time here has been such a growing experience. Transferring in from a secular university, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at the love and compassion the faculty and staff show toward the students here. We are more than a number or a name on an attendance sheet, we are brothers and sisters in Christ. During my time at Emmaus, I have not only been trained to be a future teacher, but I have also been discipled to become a better ambassador for Christ in whatever field I may end up in after graduation. I have learned more about myself and how to serve my community, and most importantly, I have learned so much more about the God that I love because He first loved me. Thank you for your support of the students at Emmaus Bible College and for giving us the opportunity to grow and to learn more about God, His Word, and how to serve Him effectively in the professional world.
